A multi-million album selling hip-hop superstar and entertainment icon does not a role model make. It was announced in early March that the famous rapper, Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, will be collaborating with "Sopranos" executive producer and Emmy-Award winner, Terry Winter, in the creation of a new videogame. It will be called "50 Cent: Bulletproof," and will be available on retail shelves for the upcoming holiday season.

50 Cent is an iconic rap artist who is largely recognized for being shot nine times and surviving. Infamous rappers Eminem and Dr. Dre originally signed the former Jamaica, Queens crack-dealer / music-industry-shunned MC. 50's 'street-confidence, sneering swagger' helped him to go from an underground mix-tape king to the top of Billboard album charts in 2003. His major label debut, titled "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" sold over a million copies throughout the world. 50 Cent's G-Unit group/label also became major.

Currently, on Thursday, March 3, 50's new album, "The Massacre," was released. "My thought process going into "The Massacre" took me back to the days when I was hustling. I'm looking to move the competition off the block. I feel like anything less than what I've accomplished with "Get Rich" is a disappointment. I had time to grow during the last two years, so I just feel like I'm a better artist," said 50 Cent about his newest release.

Oscar-nominated director Jim Sheridan signed on to direct the rapper in the upcoming movie "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," named after the famous album. 50 Cent has also teamed up with Dr. Dre to do the Aftermath/G-Unit joint release of West Coast savior "The Game," whose no. 1 debut "The Documentary," sold over 500,000 in its first week alone.

50 Cent sure knows how to keep his-self busy, and is always adding more to his resume. 50 wasn't content with having multi-platinum album sales, high profile magazine covers, sold-out tours, and coverage on MTV and BET. So he went on to set up his own label with partner Sha Money XL. He also presented G-Unit with the 2004 quadruple platinum "Beg For Mercy." He has a clothing deal with Ecko Unlimited for his G-Unit line, and a shoe endorsement deal with Reebok as well.

So what is the upcoming, anticipated videogame going to be like? On May 18th in Los Angeles, "50 Cent: Bulletproof" will be previewed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Apparently, the game will involve 50 Cent getting caught in a web of corruption, double-crosses, and shady deals. All of these incidents lead him to New York's drug underworld, and all of the violence and blood-shed that goes along with it. The point of the game is for 50 Cent to take on dangerous crime and uncover international conspiracies.
